A Simple Solution To Earn Money Online

Due to our current economic situation more people are looking for alternative way’s to earn money to cover their day to day expenses. Some people go look for another job and end up just working harder and still falling further behind. Others choose to create an online business that will give them not only the income their looking for but also flexibility in their work schedule.

When it comes to starting an online business there are plenty of choices for people to choose from and plenty of guru’s willing to sell you their advice. This is were the headaches begin for someone just getting started on the Internet.

The hard way. (I’ll reveal the simple solution later.)

Some guru’s tell you to create your own product, build your own website, create a list and market to them. This is fine if you have the knowledge, skills, time and money to invest in getting everything up and running.

My wife and I got our start on the Internet doing just that. We bought a few books and courses to get started, but after a few months we were still banging our heads against the wall trying to put everything together.

That’s when we decided that if we wanted to do this thing the right way we need a mentor and hired one through a leading Internet Marketing company. We wanted someone with a prove system to show us how to do it for ourselves. We must have invested close to $10,000 for the training, materials, software and 6 months of mentorship.

By having a mentor we managed to come up with a product, get a custom website built and learned to market our business online. After spending a few hundred dollars a month on marketing we started building a list and we got our first sale. Since then we have seen consistent growth and results from our first website.

I was also intrigued with Affiliate Marketing. With this system there is no need to spend the time creating your own product. Your job is to drive traffic to the website of the person who created the product and you make a small commission for every sale you make.

After listening to the experts I was told that I needed to create my own blog, so that I can capture peoples information. From there I had to market my blog and build relationships with people so that I would build trust. Once I did this I could market all sorts of products to my list. This turned out to be a very time consuming experience.

This method also took plenty of time to get everything set up properly. Since I spent so much money before setting up our other website I was forced to do everything myself. Luckily for me my wife is really good with computers and programing so this saved me a ton of money.

Why I Decided To Join The Empower Network

I first started marketing myself and my business online back in December of 2009. I went through so much hassle trying to get everything set up and running properly.

I bought course after course trying to learn how to accomplish everything that I needed to do to market my business online. I attended dozens of webinars and listened to so many different gurus on how to build my business.

The first challenge I met with was setting up my own blog.

I’m not the most technical savvy person out there. I know a little about HTML code but to get my blog to look half decent I needed my wife’s help, she’s really good with computers and programming. If I didn’t have her help I would have been forced to hire someone or spend many hours trying to figure everything out.

The second challenge was getting my blog to rank in the search engines.

I had to learn about SEO and other marketing techniques to get my blog to rank on Google. This took my over 6 months of study and practice.

I was broke when I first started marketing online so I had to look into free marketing strategies. I learned about article marketing, video marketing, using twitter and Facebook. I was getting overwhelmed with everything I had to do and learn.

The third challenge was making enough money from my affiliate programs.

During this time I was told to sign up and promote different affiliate products to create a funded proposal system. This way I would be able to fund my marketing from the money that I made online.

In theory this sounds great and yes some people are able to do this easily because they already have some knowledge and skill with Internet marketing, sales or influence. For someone just starting out and doesn’t have the skills necessary to sell, this can be a challenge.

The biggest problem with the affiliate programs that I was marketing is I was only making maybe a 10% to 30% commission. I’m OK with that, but you need to sell a tone of stuff and do it consistently to make a decent living.

When you sell most affiliate products you get a small commission that is paid to you maybe 4 to 8 weeks later, depending on the program your promoting. You start running into problems If you need the money to live on or to fund your marketing.

The solution I found.

When I was first introduced to the idea of the Empower Network I was very intrigued. I was told that I would make 100% commission on every product that I owned and promoted.

Marketing Options For Network Marketing
